The Redwoods of Ridgefield
Ridgefield holds a special place in our hearts, as we acquired this stunning property in 2004 and have poured our passion into it ever since. Our commitment to the environment and the preservation of the majestic Redwoods led us to recently gift the land to the city of Arcata as a conservation easement. This ensures the perpetuity of the Redwood forest habitat, allowing generations to come to revel in the tranquility and magic of this unique space.
An Otherworldly Experience
The centerpiece of Ridgefield is the charming Colonial-style house constructed in 2005. Over the past 19 years, we’ve continuously enhanced the property, including constructing the stone patio ceremony area.

DELIA BENSE-KANG
Event Manager
A Humboldt County local through and through, Delia has a deep love for this community and its natural environment. She has a wealth of experience in event planning and design, from weddings and conferences to fundraisers and surf competitions. You’ll find her catching waves or practicing ballet when she’s not creating unforgettable weddings.
FAYE KRAUSE
Faye approaches floral design as an art form, using flowers as her medium and your event as her canvas. With 20 years of experience in the design world and a lifetime in the flower growing world, she draws from what will work within your season. She believes in creating the most sustainable event by using flowers from her own farm, composting all green waste, and recycling and reusing boxes and packaging.
CHEF NATALIA WOLFF
Natalia Wolff was born and raised in Humboldt County, California. She has cooked professionally for over 15 years, from wood-fired pizza ovens to a tapas-style wine bar. She is focused on serving local cuisine through catering, pop-up restaurants, and personal chef services. Her close relationships with farmers and purveyors in Northern California allow her to create one-of-a-kind dining experiences for each of her events.
LAURA BERREY
Laura Berrey’s love for baking began at 8 with her first Easy Bake Oven. After studying Hospitality & Tourism, she earned an associate degree in Patisserie & Baking from Le Cordon Bleu in 2009. In 2010, she began working at The Fairmont Grand Del Mar in San Diego, where she climbed from Morning Baker to Wedding Cake Decorator and Pastry Sous Chef during the hotel’s prestigious Forbes Triple 5-star rating. Now, Laura proudly serves Humboldt County with high-end, gourmet wedding cakes and pastries.
CAMERON SMITH
Cameron is an experienced and versatile DJ who specializes in curating unforgettable musical experiences that cater to every taste and style. Whether it’s a romantic first dance, an energetic dance floor, or the perfect track for each moment of your celebration, his goal is to enhance the atmosphere and create lasting memories. With a deep passion for music and a keen ability to read the crowd, he brings a unique energy to each wedding.
